Good morning, offshore over the weekend was a little slow, due to the full moon I suspect. The full moon gives ample light for fish to feed at night or when ever they feel the urge. We did hear of some dolphin catches and some kingfish out on the bar. Live bait was working well on both species. Dave Maxwell reported to us this morning that he has been able to find pilchards, greenies and threadfin herring. To save time and the fuel expense you can call either Dave at # 772-519-2104 or Lenny Schelin at # 772-519-2006 to fill your live bait requests.
Inshore, the same holds true with the light of the full moon. One angler reported a catch of an 8# flounder on a DOA CAL minnow, north in the lagoon in skinny water around Harbor Branch. We also received reports of some good trout fishing on topwater lures early in the a.m. There are still some bluefish around the south side of the inlet. Monty Tabor reported that they were like feeding piranhas when they moved to the area where he was fishing.
