The fishing was pretty good yesterday. We spoke with several people that had 6 or more dolphin in the 80-100′ range as well as a few sailfish bites. There were plenty of kingfish mixed in that depth as well. There were some really nice kings on the beach and plenty of bait to go around. There have been great numbers of tarpon from the power plant North, but they have been tough to catch the last few days.
Inshore, the flats have slowed a bit with this ridiculously hot water. Try targeting places with a lot of tidal movement if you want to succeed. The snook fishing is still great!!! There were also some big tarpon in the inlet last night spotted by the snook fisherman.
Have a great weekend!
