Good Morning, I spoke with Capt. Glen Cameron of the charter boat Floridian today, his last trip offshore was on Tuesday of this week. The trip offshore proved to be a good one. They caught 5 out of 7 Sailfish, a limit of Kingfish and plenty of Bonito all on live bait. If you wanted to go and stretch a string offshore I think this would be a good time to try it. For a fun time offshore you can call Capt. Glen Cameron of Floridian Charters, 772-332-1155. Near shore things have changed a little bit the last couple days. The water has turned cold and has run some of the fish offshore. There is still plenty of live bait to be found on the beach. The mix of bait around amounts to Greenies, Horn bellies and some Blue runners. There had been some Permit at the boils, but the cold water seems to have run them off.
Inshore, We have heard there are plenty of Tarpon and Redfish around the Sebastian inlet. Around our inlet and the turning basin you should expect to find some cold water on the incoming tide with that being said there is still plenty of Snook fishing to found. Trout fishing away from the influence of the cold water of the inlet is improving somewhat and there are still plenty of Snapper to found.
Have a great day, Donald.
