Good Morning, yesterday offshore produced mixed results. Capt. Geoff Quatraro on board the private vessel Nelsheen guided his crew to catch 3 Cobia. The Cobia were caught on live bait around the 12-A buoy. There is plenty of bait around right now and with that quantity of bait you can expect to find Kingfish, Cobia, AJ’s with a few Sailfish and Dolphin thrown into the mix. I have not heard a word on bottom fishing with the exception of some decent Snapper action on the 10 minute reef.
Inshore, last night at the Taylor Creek spillway the Snook action was off the chain. Lots of big Snook could be caught on DOA Terror-Eyz. Lam Nguyen caught 7 snook and jumped off a couple of Tarpon there last night just before sundown. The Snapper fishing along the channel edges and in the inlet is still good. It looks like we have a good forecast for the weekend so try to get out and bend a rod or two.
We have just received the NEW LIGHTNING FAST, PSE EX-FORCE OMEN *366 FPS IBO. THE FASTEST BOW ON THE PLANET.
Have a great weekend, Donald.
