Good Morning, Reports form offshore yesterday were pretty encouraging. A few Dolphin were reported yesterday scattered in 80′-120′ trolling bally-hoo. There are still plenty of Kingfish to go around in 55′-80′. Cap’t. Tris Colket on the charter boat Last Mango with Devin Silas working the pit, reported a limit of Kingfish and Amberjacks on both Wednesday and Thursday. They found the Kingfish in 70′ north of the 12 buoy and the AJ’s in 150′ southeast of the Ft. Pierce inlet all on live bait. Capt’. Tris said they found plenty of Threadfins on the beach and Sardines at the 12 buoy. Sailfish action remains good scattered along the coast from Ft. Pierce to Stuart in 55′-200.
Inshore, Snook fishing is still good along the docks of the Ft. Pierce inlet and back into the turning basin. Trout fishing is still slow in the lagoon. Several anglers told me yesterday they fished early morning with few results on trout. They reported some good Tarpon action and caught some Jacks. One angler told me yesterday he lost several Yo-zuri plugs to bluefish in the morning wading along Indian River drive.
