Good morning,
Offshore, there has been a decent little bite going on the past few days. Some scattered dolphin have showed up most in the 10-15 pound range. sailfishing has been good and those who have put there time in trolling have seen quite a few. Kingfish are still abundant from 40-90 feet and there is plenty of bait around to target them. There are plenty of amberjacks on the bottom for those who want a tussle.
Inshore, snook still remains the hot ticket. The bite has been good throughout the day and excellent at night. Live bait, Yo-Zuri plugs, red tail hawks, fly whatever. It’s been great! The trout fishing has slowed down the last couple of weeks although some pretty hefty ones have been caught in the early a.m. I heard of several nice redfish caught near Round Island and the Moorings yesterday.
Have a good day!
