I still do not have an offshore report. I don’t actually know of anyone who has passed the inlet the last two days. On the flip side, we are supposed to have great weather all weekend. From today to Sunday night they are calling for 2-3’, so get out while you can because it looks like its going to be blustery by Monday afternoon.
The river has remained the savior for the last few days. I have still heard of a few good catches of pompano and there is still an abundance of large trout around. As in yesterdays report there are snook everywhere in the inlet area and plenty of them. Tonight would be a great night to pull plugs if you get a chance. The trout fishing has been good towards the power plant and North of the bridges on the East side of the river. Fish pot holes and bars with some current flow. Mirror lure Mirro-dines have been working well as are other hard baits such as Rapala Sub-Walks. Try and find the largest schools of mullet you can to fish around and the trout will be close.
Hope everyone has a great day, good luck this weekend!
