Well it looks like we are in store for a nice weekend after this wind dies from yesterdays cold front. I haven’t heard much from the offshore scene since it has been blown out the last two days. The bottom fishing had turned on before the wind so hopefully it will remain good this weekend.
On the inshore front snook remain the hot topic. Both bridges, the inlet, dock lights, and the turning basin are all holding large numbers of snook. The night time guys have all been catching PLENTY of fish both trolling and throwing feathers. There are still an abundance of over sized fish being caught every night. I would look for the fishing to be red hot tonight with this last blast of cold weather.
Have a good day!
