Good morning,
The report hasn’t changed much in the last day or so mainly due to weather and lack of boats fishing. I haven’t heard of anyone who has fished since Sunday, although I know of two or three that are fishing today and tomorrow so I will keep you posted.
Pompano are the talk of the town right now on the inshore scene. The surf fishing has been red hot with some guys reporting 30 pompano a day. There have also been some nice stringers of pomps caught in the river. One customer came in yesterday with a picture of a seven pounder, nice fish! Other than that everything is about the same. There are still some nice snook to be caught and released both day and night. A few customers have been plug fishing up in Taylor Creek and have released a few stout ones. There are plenty of nice trout to be had on the local flats. We have heard of many in the 25" range with some in the low 30’s.
We will post a better offshore report tomorrow after some guys get in today. Have a great day!!!!!
