Good morning,
The sailfish are back! Several boats fished up our way yesterday. Wink on the Masque released 11 sails out of about 20, and I heard a few others had between 7 and 9 sails. With this other front coming through tonight I would expect some pretty good fishing early next week. It sounds like the sailfish by-catch slowed a bit, although there were several dolphin captured. Jimmy Gornto and Mark Malizia went swordfishing last night and released one about 44 inches. They said it was a beautiful night with a bright moon and flat seas. They had a couple of other bites and had one pesky little sword about 15 pounds stay in the light for a few minutes looking for a free meal.
We didn’t receive any other inshore reports yesterday other than the pompano fishing in the surf remains good to the South (towards the Power Plant).
Have a wonderful day!
