Offshore anglers have several good options lately, with Kingfish in the 70′ to 80′ range, Dolphin out at 180′ to 200′, and Grouper in between around 120′ to 150′. Nearshore and inlet anglers are encountering Tarpon in larger numbers, and there are some larger Jack Crevalle around as well. Snook seem to be transitioning out of the IRL and into the inlets and onto the beaches slowly but surely (season ends Friday). Still some Seatrout around in the river, along with Redfish, though some of the larger Snook have left. The best news of all seems to be good amounts of seagrass showing up in places that haven’t had any in years, hopefully good news for the future. Good luck out there.
