Offshore fishing has turned on, with several good options. The Mangrove Snapper bite in 80′ of water has been solid, and Kingfish have been active in the same depth. For those anglers seeking Dolphin or Sailfish, live bait in the 130′ range has been the ticket. The Snook bite in the inlets has been hit or miss, but for those looking for a tug the Jack Crevalle have been quite active. Inshore has continued to be good for Snook, but Redfish and Seatrout have been a tougher bet. Fishing docks with live bait have yielded several large Snook, and for those looking to sight fish, there are still plenty around if you seek out the cleaner water. Surf fishing has overall been quiet, but some Snook are being caught on soft plastics for those putting in the time. Good luck out there.
