With the weather turning beautiful the last few days, fishing has been on the upswing. Offshore anglers are finally getting chances to head out, and are being rewarded with Dolphin starting at 80′ all the way out to 300′, with live bait working the best, followed by rigged ballyhoo. Kingfish have been active on live greenies around 80′, and the bottom fishers have capitalized on a good Mangrove Snapper bite also in 80′ of water. Snook fishing in the inlets has been good, mostly on live bait during the day, and jigs at night. The beaches have been fairly quiet, but the water is looking better, so hopefully some bait materializes. The IRL has seen some better Seatrout catches lately, as well as some better Redfish numbers, to go along with the still strong Snook catches. Live bait around the docks has been the ticket for a nice Snook. Good luck out there.
