Surf anglers have had some nice conditions the last few days, and activity has been up. Pompano numbers are slowly rising, with Round Island the most consistent area. Spanish Mackerel have been around in good numbers, with Bluefish and Jack Crevalle also active. Some Snook are also being caught still, and even a few Tarpon still being sighted. Small pods of mullet are still moving thru, and small Pilchards and greenies are also around. Offshore, the Kingfish have been in close in 30′ to 40′ of water, and Dolphin and some Sailfish have been caught in 100′ to 150′. Fort Pierce Inlet has yielded some Snook in the evenings on jigs, and Tarpon have been very active. Inshore, Seatrout continue to be caught in promising numbers, and Redfish have been caught in the Wabasso area as well. Snook continue to be found around the mullet schools as well. Good luck out there.
