Good morning everyone. The mullet run has slowed down a bit, but a front coming Saturday will likely push more bait this way. There have been some Snook caught in the surf, along with Bluefish, Spanish Mackerel, and Jack Crevalle, Spoons, soft plastics, plugs, and of course live mullet have all been effective. The inlets have been yielding reasonable numbers of Snook and some Redfish as well, on live mullet, flare jigs, and swimbaits. Offshore, the Kingfish bite has been good in the 70′ to 80′ range on live bait, with scattered Dolphin and the occasional Sailfish in the 90′ to 100′ range as well. Bottom fishing for Mangrove Snapper seems to be picking up as well, the water has been clearing up. Inshore, there’s still good action for Snook and baby Tarpon around the mullet schools, and some Redfish and Seatrout around the flats as well. Soft plastics, topwater plugs, and of course live mullet have all been effective. Good luck out there.
