It appears the mullet run has turned back on full tilt post storm, with lots of finger mullet and some silvers moving down the beach. Tarpon, sharks, Snook, Jack Crevalle, Ladyfish, Redfish, and Bluefish are all waiting for them as they pass by. NLBN ‘Lil Mullet, Paddle Tails, Hogys, spoons, and Yo-Zuri twitch baits have all been effective, as have live mullet. Both Fort Pierce and Sebastian Inlets have both been very good for Snook, Tarpon, and Redfish on mullet and swimbaits as well. Offshore, bottom fishing has been off due to dirty water, but further out in 150’ of water there have been scattered Dolphin and Sailfish. Inshore, the runoff has made culverts and relief canals productive for Snook and baby Tarpon, while the same species have also been active on the schools of mullet moving thru, mostly on topwater plugs and live mullet. Good luck out there.
