Good morning everyone. Things are finally picking up on the beaches, with glass minnows and Pilchards showing up on various beaches, to the delight of Snook, Ladyfish, Jack Crevalle, and a few Tarpon. There is still plenty of weed in some places, but not everywhere, so it pays to look around. Soft plastics like the Hogy and NLBN have been effective, as have Polar Fibre Minnows and Gamechangers for the fly anglers. Inshore has remained an early and done activity, with Snook and baby Tarpon providing the reward or the early risers. Topwater plugs and soft plastics have both been productive. Offshore, the Kingfish bite has been good in the 70′ to 80′ range, with live bait the most productive. Sailfish in the Stuart area have been very active in the 50′ range on live bait. There have also been Tarpon in Fort Pierce Inlet in the evenings on outgoing tide. Good luck out there.
