Good morning everyone. It looks like we’re destined for some nicer weather for the weekend, with calmer conditions that will let anglers head offshore. There have been some scattered Sailfish in the 80′ to 100′ range, along with some Dolphin, with live bait producing the best. The Kingfish bite has also been good in the 70′ to 80′ range. Fort Pierce Inlet has yielded some Tarpon and Snook on incoming tide of late, and Sebastian Inlet has produced some pretty nice Mangrove Snapper on live bait as well. Surf fishing has been almost impossible with the seaweed that has been around, but hopefully the westerly winds will dispatch that over the next several days. The Indian River has been a bit tougher lately with the heat, so your best bet is to go early and look for Snook and baby Tarpon along the shorelines, or fish live bait deeper in basins such as in The Moorings or at the turning basin for bigger Tarpon. Good luck out there.
