The recent rains have caused the Snook (season is closed) to turn on around the relief canals and culverts, with baby Tarpon joining in on some of the fun. Swimbaits and plugs are doing the most work, with some big fish caught from the relief canals of late. Offshore, scattered Dolphin have been in 120′ of water, while the Kingfish bite in 80′ of water has been pretty good. Weed along the beaches has been challenging, but the west winds are clearing some of it out. Fort Pierce Inlet has been producing Snook and Tarpon at night, but it’s been on again off again of late, with jigs working well on the Snook, and swimbaits for the Tarpon. Good luck out there.
