Good morning everyone. The current windier conditions look to give way to calmer conditions for the weekend, hopefully giving more people an opportunity to take advantage of what’s been a good Kingfish bite. Scattered Sailfish have also been caught, as well as Dolphin. Fish have been caught as close as 75′ of water, and live greenies have been hard to beat. Surf anglers have had a tough go with seaweed and rough conditions, but maybe things will improve for the weekend. Inshore, quality Snook continue to be caught, with a variety of methods. A near 40″ fish caught on fly with Capt. Tyler Treece this week was a fish of a lifetime. Redfish will be going to catch and release only status in the Indian River Lagoon soon, which will hopefully improve their numbers down the road. Fort Pierce Inlet has been pretty good at night for Snook on jigs, with an occasional Tarpon as well. Good luck out there.
