Good morning everyone. Tough conditions over today and tomorrow look to give way to very nice conditions over the holiday weekend. West winds will hopefully clean the surf up quickly, and the cooler temps should generate some Pompano catches, along with Bluefish and Spanish Mackerel. It’s been tough to get offshore the last few days, but these cooler temps should also push more Sailfish into the area and get things rolling. Snook season is closed, but those anglers heading to the inlets should get their share of Bluefish, Spanish Mackerel, Jack Crevalle, and the occasional Pompano to keep them busy. Inshore, sight fishing has been difficult with the conditions, but should improve for Christmas weekend. In the meantime, docks and shorelines have been producing Snook and some Redfish as well, with the cleaner water found nearer to the inlets. Pompano should also push into the IRL here, as they have been caught north of Sebastian Inlet of late. We hope all of you have a Merry Christmas, and enjoy time with family and friends and time on the water.
