Good morning everyone. Surf fishing has benefited from the calmer west winds, and bait has shown up along most beaches. Snook activity has been very good along the beaches, taking soft plastics, baitfish flies, and jigs. There have also been Spanish Mackerel, Ladyfish, and Jack Crevalle along with some Tarpon. Lobster Mini Season started today, so things will be busy on the water nearshore and offshore, so be aware out there. The inlets have been good for Snook at night ( catch and release only ) and Sebastian has yielded some Redfish as well. Inshore, Snook fishing continues to be solid along the shorelines, mostly on soft plastics, and Redfish action seems best to the south, where the water clarity seems better. Good luck out there.
