Good morning everyone. Calm conditions on the beach has rewarded anglers with some very good Snook fishing, both blind casting early and afternoon sight fishing. Jigs, soft plastics, and light colored baitfish flies have all been working. Weed hasn’t been too bad, except north towards Sebastian Inlet. Offshore, Sailfish and Kingfish activity has been good in the 70′ – 80′ range, and Mangrove Snapper fishing has been good, though a cold water upwelling in the Fort Pierce area may slow that down. Snook fishing in the inlets has been good at night ( STILL CATCH AND RELEASE THRU THIS MONTH ), and there’s also been some Tarpon activity as well. The Indian River has gotten dirtier due to the recent rains, but fishing culverts and relief canals has produced good Snook and baby Tarpon fishing. Good luck out there.
