GOOD MORNING!
OFFSHORE:
THE LAST FEW DAYS OFFSHORE HAVE BEEN A LITTLE ON THE SLOW SIDE, WITH NOT MANY BOATS VENTURING OUT, BECAUSE OF THE SWELL… THOSE THAT DID WERE ABLE TO FIND A FEW SMALLER DOLPHIN ALONG WITH A FEW RESIDENT SAILS HANGING AROUND(115-140FT). PLENTY OF KING FISH ON THE OFFSHORE BAR (70-90FT). BOTTOM FISHING ON THE WRECKS HAS PRODUCED SOME DECENT SIZED AJ'S ALSO. A FEW REPORTS THAT THE GOLDEN TILES HAVE ALSO BEEN BITING AS WELL OFFSHORE IN 120 FATHOMS. DAVID MAXWELL OF DAVES BAITS IS WELL STOCKED IN LIVE BAIT FOR ALL YOU LIVE BAITERS AS WELL.
INSHORE:
STILL A FEW SNOOK BEING CAUGHT IN THAT ILLUSTRIOUS SLOT LIMIT AROUND THE BRIDGES AND JETTYS. THE RECENT COLD SNAP CAUSED A BIT OF A BITE IN THE PAST FEW DAYS. LOOKING SOUTH IN THE RIVER SOME POMPANOS HAVE BEEN REPORTED ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE RIVER SKIPPING OFF THE FLATS AS WELL AS JAYCEE PARK AND THE INLET. REPORTS OF SOME NICE SIZED TROUT BEING CAUGHT SOUTH IN THE RIVER IN STUART AND NEAR THE POWER PLANT. SOME REDS HAVE BEEN SPOTTED NORTH OF HARBOR BRANCH ON THE WEST SIDE RECENTLY AS WELL.
