Good morning, Some larger dolphin catches surfaced yesterday from several different anglers reports. Boats fishing in 80'-200' over the last few days found some gaffer sized dolphin and boated some over 25#. Bottom fishing has still remained good with live bait producing the best results. There have also been some reports of kingfish and some sailfish releases in the same depths scattered across our coastline.
Inshore, there are tarpon beginning to show along the beaches and in the Ft. Pierce inlet and anglers are getting some action on live pilchards and live mullet. Snook fishing remains good as we approach the season closing on June 1st. Snook and trout have also been found cruising the flats early in the morning with reports of some good catches coming from both live bait and lures. The dock line along the west side of the lagoon has been good for anglers fishing later in the day for trout, snook and redfish. There have been a few reports of some flounder catches off the south jetty as well with live bait working best.
