Inshore, clear water conditions are hampering the snook fisherman who like to toss jigs. Live bait fisherman have had good luck with pigfish and pilchards on ole linesides. Erik Melville reported a lot of bait along South Indian River Drive on his way to the office this morning. Trout fishing remains strong all over the lagoon the last few days. Try live shrimp suspended under a rattle cork or top water lures early in the morning.
