Good morning, windy weather over the week end kept most boats in port. Look for cobia, kingfish, dolphin and a few sailfish reports to return to our fishing report as soon as weather permits.
Inshore, snook fishing has been good around the inlet and both bridges. Anglers have been getting good results with both jigs and trolling Rapala Shad Raps through the draw of the bridges. Shane Diehl reported a catch of 6 redfish south around the nuclear plant using Berkley jerk shads. Bluefish are a dominant presence in the inlet and will take spoons and cut bait. Trout fishing remains good in the deeper pockets of the lagoon and will take live shrimp or DOA Cal Minnows.
Drop by our store and take a look at the new line of Zeal Sunglasses by Maui Jim. Priced from $75.00 to $150.00.
Have a great day, Donald.
