Good morning, both the inshore and offshore fishing over the last few days has been a little on the slow side. We heard of some dolphin catches south of the St Lucie inlet off Stuart in 250′. A few kingfish are scattered over the reefs and can be taken either trolling or live bait fishing. Black sea bass are also in big supply over the area reefs and there have been a few grouper caught in deeper water. There are a few tarpon on the beaches and at the mouth of the inlet.
Inshore, there have been reports of redfish scattered around the lagoon and some good numbers concentrated near the Harbor Branch area. Trout fishing has been decent on soft plastics and live shrimp. Snook fishing has slowed a little bit, there have been some caught on the flats and off the south and north jetty both on jigs and live mullet.
Have a great day, Donald.
