Good morning, the fishing scene offshore remains a little on the slow side. Doug Sease reported catching 20# wahoo trolling a "Geoff" rigged Bahama lure just north of push button hill on his last fishing excursion. Bottom fishing has been slow the couple of days as well.
Inshore, Bob Hartwein reported catching a trout that weighed in at 61/2# 27 inches in length. Bob was using a riptide lure in the salt & pepper color. Trout fishing has not been redhot and is better in the early morning hours when things are cooler. Catch and release action for snook has been good in the inlet and off the south jetty. Mangrove snapper fishing has been good around the areas bridges.
Have a great day, Donald.
