Good morning, yesterday brought us some reports of scattered dolphin and kingfish offshore. We also heard of some cobia around the bull sharks, tossing a live bait can get you good results for the cobia. There are plenty amberjack over the area wrecks and reefs again live bait and jigs work well. Tarpon and kingfish are along our beaches mixed in with the bull sharks.
Inshore, Capt. Sam Crutchfield reported yesterday that the last 3 days presented him with some slow fishing and tough conditions. Windy weather has the lagoon water stirred up and is little cloudy. Mike Bunnell reported a very good snook bite at the south jetty the last couple of days on live bait and jigs. The snook bite has been good right around sunset and into the early evening. Snook and tarpon fishing in the inlet is beginning to heat up to the normal summer time activity.
Have a good day, Kadri.
