Good morning, spring time fishing offshore just keeps on getting better and better. Capt. Christian Springsteen fishing on the boat Wild at Heart put his group of anglers on a catch of 12 dolphin yesterday. Capt. Springsteen reported the catch came from 200′ around the 240 line. Others fishing offshore yesterday reported that the bulk of the cobia have moved up to the Canaveral area with a few remaining around our area.
Inshore, Mike Bunnell reported a catch of redfish while wading in the lagoon around the midway road area. Mike reported the catch came from Berkley Gulp and DOA products. The trout fishing has actually slowed a little bit, the water temperature is still a little cool and the windy conditions have the water a little silted. Trout especially don’t like the silt in their gills.
Have a great weekend, Donald.
