Yesterdays beautiful weather let a bunch of trigger happy anglers slide offshore. I heard of a bunch of boats with 4-5 sails. The most we heard of was on the Big Daddy with 7 sails . They also caught 3 nice wahoos and some big blackfin tunas. It didn’t sound like the bite was on fire but most everyone got some good shots throughout the day. There were some nice dolphin caught in the mix. The largest we heard of yesterday was right around 35 pounds.
Inshore, the redfishing fired off yesterday!!! I spoke with Tony Vercillo last night. Tony caught 30 nice redfish most mid to upper slot. Gulp shrimp were working their magic. There are giant trout laid up everywhere right now. It has been tough to get them to eat, but most have been in the 5-10 pound range. I haven’t heard or seen too many pompano lately but they should continue to push in with the cold water.
Have a great day,
