WOW!!! What a day yesterday was! The sailfish started out yesterday biting as a normal day for everyone. A boat would catch one and see another, that sort of thing. Then the crew of the Coral Sea made a run to the north and had the best afternoon some of them have ever seen. They stopped north of bethal and set out their lines. It didn’t take long and they hook a double, then they hooked a triple, and before they knew they were reaching double digit numbers. They caught a few more before it got dark and started home. They had caught twenty-three sailfish and had thirty-five bites. At one point they didn’t have any teasers in the water and hooked a triple. Nice going guys!!!!!
All the action was deeper yesterday. Both out front and to the north boats fished the prettier cleaning water in 190′ to 220′ on average. The boats that fished out front only had caught a few sails each but still had good fish in there own respect. I dint hear mention on any sort of "critters" yesterday as far as bonita ect., so hopefully the only encounters people have today are with spindle beaks, dorados, and wahoos.
Well have a great weekend and good luck to everyone that venture out. Also, don’t forget Christmas! It’s only a week away. We have gift cards that would put a smile on anyones face!
