Good morning, few boats fished offshore yesterday, but the ones that did were treated to some sailfish action and a few scattered dolphin. The sailfish were scattered in 80′-200′ no concentration of fish were found.
Inshore, I took a measurement of water temperature behind our house and the temperature was 51 degrees this morning. No creature was stirring in the shallow waters. The fishing in the deeper water of the inlet has provided anglers with some action. Snook fishing off the south jetty was good last night and the past couple of nights. We are getting reports of bluefish, spanish mackerel, flounder and jacks around the bridges and in the inlet.
Have a great day, Kadri.
