Good Morning, I hope everyone’s ready to go fishing, because it is good everywhere. Trout, snook, and, redfish litter the intercoastal waters. Several people have told me that the trout are most abundant on the deeper flats. They are catching them on DOA CAL’s and MirrOlure mirrOdine’s. Kadri fished for less than an hour yesterday and caught 7 trout at Bear Point using the DOA CAL paddle tail grub in a mullet color.
As for the offshore report, the sailfish are biting up north. All the "boys" are fishing off Ponce Inlet and the fishing there was pretty good this week. The Boneshaker caught 34 sailfish in two days of fishing, and there were several other boats that caught double digit sails. With any luck those fish should push down in the next few cold front and we’ll get a piece of the action.
