Good morning, as the wind increases this week from the passing of cat 4 hurricane Igor, sea conditions will continue to deteriorate into the week end. The good news is that swordfishing is improving. We heard a number of reports of a good Swordy bite in 1500′ south of the St. Lucie inlet. Something to think about when the winds subside.
Inshore, the report remains much the same as yesterday’s report with the exception of Sebastian inlet. The inlet at Sebastian in typical fall fashion is producing great snook and redfishing. The redfish are mostly above the slot but worth the catch and release action. 2oz pink jigs are working best.
Remember the snook season opens September 17th. State laws apply.
Have a great day, Donald.
