Good morning, the week end report was a little weak, no pun intended. There were kingfish in 55′ to 80′ and some small dolphin in 80′-120′. We heard that bait was a little scarce. With the arrival of mullet along the areas beaches the usual action can be found. Snook, tarpon, jacks and sharks can be found in the mix.
Inshore, mullet are every where. One customer walking over the bridge early Saturday morning reported she saw tarpon, snook and jacks having their way with the mullet. We also heard of jacks, trout and redfish north in the lagoon. Snook can be found cruising the flats early in the morning and late in the day. There are some flounder off the south jetty as well as snook and tarpon. Throw in some snapper around our bridges and channel edges and you have some choices to think about.
Archery season opens this weekend north of SR-70. We are now a full line Mathews dealer and we also carry PSE, Elite, Bowtech and Martin bows. We have some bows on sale at great prices in our complete archery department.
Have a great day, Donald.
