Good morning, yesterday provided us with a mix of offshore action. We are hearing of some yellowfin tuna action off the corner the last couple days. Closer to home you can find dolphin in 100 feet of water and still find a sailfish or two in the same vicinity. The near shore action is producing spanish mackerel, kingfish and tarpon.
Inshore, the snook bite at the south jetty heated up a bit last night with plenty of fish caught and released on redtail hawk type jigs. The inlet for the last week has been home to lots of spots and croakers. One throw of the cast net can provide a live well full of them. We have heard of some tripletail starting to show around the areas structures.
Have a great day, Kadri.
