Good morning, well the word of the day from offshore is dolphin. They seem to everywhere, Capt. Al Winchel reported catching a number of large dolphin 1 weighing a whopping 62 pounds slow trolling bally-hoo in 1700 feet while fishing for day time swordfish. Al did not do as well on the daytime swords, but reported the a couple over 700 pounds were caught over the weekend.
Inshore, it seems a little on the slow side for some reason, but we are getting reports of mangrove snapper along the channel edges and a few snook on live bait mainly late afternoon and after sunset.
Have a great day, Donald.
