Good morning, reports from offshore over the weekend indicated that we still have cold water to contend with. Boats fishing offshore on Saturday reported very slow trolling, the only fish they could bend a rod with were Amberjacks and some Grouper.
Inshore, things remained a little quiet over the weekend. Kadri Benton found some cooperative Snook and Bluefish at the spillway on Taylor Creek. Soft plastics were working best over the weekend. A couple of anglers reported some good catches of Trout south in the lagoon also on soft plastics. There are still Bluefish from the south jetty. I did hear of Sheepshead catches scattered around the area’s bridges.
Have a great day, Donald.
