Good morning, nothing to report from offshore yesterday with all the wind around. It looks like conditions are favorable on the corner for some good Tuna and Wahoo fishing. The weekend looks a little choppy but certainly fishable. You might want poke out side and see if you can find a Cobia or two and maybe a Kingfish along the area’s beaches.
Inshore, things are finally getting back to normal. Yesterday Kadri Benton fishing at the Spillway at Taylor Creek, caught Bluefish and Snook on DOA CAL minnows and cotee jigs. He also reported that some folks there were catching some Sandperch on cut shrimp. We have also received numerous reports of good Trout fishing north in the lagoon and the Snook action is returning to normal on the flats as well. You can still find plenty of Bluefish on Ft. Pierce’s south jetty and we heard some rumors of few Redfish there as well.
Plenty to look forward to in the weeks ahead, so be sure To get your gear up to speed for some great spring time action.
Have a great weekend, Donald.
