Good Morning, Sailfishing is still to talk to the town. Every afternoon the shop is a buzz with everyone trying to find out the days results. Will it be the Lisa K or the Bandalero maybe the Cowpoke? Only time will tell. I can say its been 20 minutes since "lines in" and there have already been a few fish caught!
If the fishing is as good as yesterday it could be an interesting day. I had reports from several boats that sounded like the fishing was great! I talked to Taylor this morning who fished on the Sonny Boy for the last 3 days. He told me they saw plenty of sailfish though out the tournament, but also had numerous dolphin encounters with fish to 18-20 pounds. The Bandolera reported tons of bonita and dolphin bites in between each sail they caught. The weather looks like it is going to be a little rough tomorrow, but Sunday looks a lot better. If your willing to brave alittle wind and wave you could be rewarded with a bounty of fish.
There is also one more important detail from yesterday. Many of you are aware that Scott and his wife were expecting there first child. Last night around 9:15 young Alex Crippen was born in Stuart. I haven’t talked to Scott, but I understand that Leslie and Alex are doing GREAT! Congratulation Scott! I hope you and Alex can share many exciting hunting and fishing memories together!
