Good morning,
Due to fairly stiff winds over the weekend I haven’t heard much from offshore. I’m sure there were a few brave souls who ventured out. It looks like it is going to be pretty snotty through the end of the week.
I fished on the beach on Friday morning and found good fishing before the front. We finally found one giant school of mullet heading down the beach and stayed with them for over 4 miles. I ran from Jensen to Vero and it was the only school we could find. Anyway, we ended up landing two tarpon, one at 125 pounds and the other around 50 pounds. We jumped off a couple more and that was that. hopefully there will be a little more left to the mullet run, but it isn’t red hot. There have been some more redfish spotted the last few days, and still plenty of snook to target. I saw a few pompano skipping in the river so fall is setting in.
Have a great week.
