Good Morning, Still not much to report from offshore yesterday. We have heard of some Kingfish around the bar and a little Sailfish action out to 240′. With the approaching cool front look for the offshore action to pick up a little over the weekend.
Inshore, there is still plenty of bait to be found. One customer reported to us yesterday, from just south of Ft. Pierce along Indian River Drive to Jensen Beach you could find plenty of Finger Mullet being pounded on along the docks. Jack Crevalle, Snook and Tarpon can be found as part of feeding blitz. With all the bait around try to use something that will get their attention other than a mullet imitation. We have heard of some large Spanish Mackerel caught in the lagoon the last couple of days. Sebastian inlet reports indicate there are still lots of Snook and Redfish action at the inlet on live bait and redtail hawks.
Have a great weekend, Donald.
