Good morning,
I didn’t really get any kind of an offshore report from this weekend. One thing for sure, there was some incredible surf on Saturday and it stayed pretty strong yesterday. I surfed yesterday and there was plenty of bait in the water, as well as some big schools of silver mullet already making their way down. I saw several nice pods of tarpon enjoying the early mullet arrival.
Inshore has been really good the last few days despite the hot weather. Several customers reported catching over twenty nice trout both days of the weekend. The snook fishing was great and should hold up for the opener. Mangrove snapper fishing around any structure in the river has been great, and some nice flounder have been caught in the process.
It looks like nice weather coming up so get out there!
