Good morning,
It looks like we have some more swell on the way. There isn’t a lot of wind involved so it should stay fairly fish-able. Taylor Hansen fished on the Reliance yesterday and reported catching two out of three sailfish and had close to 50 kingfish bites. Not bad action for this time of year. It has been good fishing and there is plenty of bait still in the area.
Closer in: There are still plenty of tarpon on the beach and in the inlet. The tarpon fishing should start getting really good as the mullet begin pushing down next month. There are plenty of snook to be caught in the inlet, as well as some spawner sized redfish. In the river, the trout fishing continues to be good. Suspending Sebille plugs and top water plugs in the morning have been producing well. T.J. Keifer caught plenty of nice redfish on Sunday but I’m sworn to secrecy on the spot.
Come see us for gator hunting supplies. We just got some more rods in as well as bang sticks, harpoons, and lights.
Have a great day!
