Good morning,
Offshore, the swordfish bite has been pretty consistent from here to Palm Beach. That is probably the best gig right now with calm seas and cooler temperatures at night. There have been some great sized fish caught from 100-375 pounds in the last few days. There have been great numbers of sailfish between Ft. Pierce and Stuart from 80-175′. A few boats had up to 6 shots over the weekend. Snapper fishing has been decent and there are still plenty of kingfish around if you want to fold a rod over.
On the beach, there has been plenty of bait. Greenies are abundant as well as pilchards in the surf, and sardines on the cans. There are still some hefty tarpon around on both North and South Beach as well as the Cove. Inshore, the snook bite around all of the normal inlet haunts has been out of control. Many people are releasing snook over 40 inches in the thirty pound class. If you want to catch a big one on fly now is the time. Redfishing has been sparse although there are some fish around.
Have a great day!
