Good morning,
Yesterday was pretty decent offshore. We started off on a nice edge in 120′ North of Bethel. We caught several nice dolphin, the largest in the thirties. We caught a big summer sailfish in the 60 # class and then eased in to live bait. We ended up with some kingfish inshore and a double header on cobias. There was decent action on the bottom as well. The Half Moon went out night before last and pulled an all-nighter. They had some nice mangroves and some good sized red snapper. The Last Mango went out yesterday and caught plenty of amberjacks on the bottom as well.
Inshore, the redfishing is picking up and is finally getting consistent. There are still a lot of snook on the flats and plenty of trout to the South. Snook and trout are hammering top-water plugs the last hour of light.
Have a great weekend, the seas look calm throughout!
