Good Afternoon,
Offshore yesterday, the charter boat Last Mango reported another good day of fishing, catching a dozen or so Dolphin and a limit of AJs trolling ballyhoo in 150′-200′ of water. We talked with one commercial Kingfisherman earlier in the day who has been fishing off Jupiter and he told me he has fished for Kingfish for 40 years commercially and has never seen a larger body of Kingfish than we have right now in the Atlantic off Jupiter.
Inshore the stellar Snook bite continues at Taylor Creek and now has moved on to the flats. Top water plugs have been working well with DOA Shrimp, Terror-Eyz, and swim baits like the CAL Minnow and Tsunami mullets working best in any dark color. We have received some reports of Tarpon on the flats south of Ft. Pierce and also reports of Tarpon in the North Fork of the St. Lucie River. One customer this morning reported a good catch of trout on the west side near his home close to Midway road.
Have a great afternoon and try to get out and treat yourself to some excellent fishing right now, Donald.
