Good Morning,
Hope everyone had a great weekend, our reports were a little slow last week with all the bad weather around. The news from the weekend turned out to be good even with all the wind around on Saturday. The charter boat Last Mango reported a good trip with 12 gaffer Dolphin, 2 Sails and a Cobia. Sunday proved to be a good day for Dolphin and Sails trolling Ballyhoo in 150′ of water. Yesterday the offshore bite slowed down a little and the bottom fishing remains slow.
Inshore, with all the bad weather and rain around, Taylor Creek spillway let loose with freshwater and you know how the Snook like all that freshwater. Top water baits there have been producing good results at the bridge and at the mouth of the creek at Harbor Point. Swim baits like the DOA Terror-Eyz and the CAL Minnow in dark colors have also proven good. North near Harbor Branch we have heard of some good Trout fishing and south towards Midway Road on the west side, some good catches of redfish have also been reported.
Have a great day, Donald.
